ArjoWiggins Chartham Ltd is a tracing paper manufacturer based in the village of Chartham just outside of Canterbury. The Mill, which operates 24 hours a day, consists of two paper machines and a paper conversion department producing around 9,000 tonnes of tracing paper per year.
APPRENTICESHIP IN TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT
Working in our Technical Department you will learn skills and develop technical knowledge of our Tracing Paper production. Working as part of a small team you will gain experience in a laboratory and production environment of a busy manufacturing site producing and shipping tracing paper world wide. You will have the opportunity to gain an NVQ (or equivalent) and a relevant Technical certificate.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable person with a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail. Interest in science and experience of working in a laboratory and of IT systems would be an advantage as well as enthusiasm to become involved in project work and learning about the technical side of tracing paper manufacture.
