Charity Shop Manager Herne Bay
Salary £14,500 - £15,300
. Demelza provides specialist care to children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions and support for their families at our hospices in Kent and South East London and through our Community team in East Sussex
37.5 hours per week – to include Saturday’s; seasonal Sunday opening may be required. Flexibility of working will be required.
You will enjoy the challenge of a varying agenda and workload. Have an unflappable temperament, excellent people skills, be well organised and methodical and be able to work under pressure.
Volunteers are key to our success so you must be able to fully engage and motivate volunteer teams.
You will have the ability to drive sales and achieve income targets.
Previous experience in retail management and using an EPOS system will be an advantage along with a good standard of computer skills and general administration.
You will be numerate, organised and resourceful in building links/support from local community.
Some travel may be necessary between other Demelza locations.
Good communication and customer service skills are essential.
