We are currently looking for Community Care Assistants.

Your role will be to provide support to clients in their own homes so they can remain independent and live life to the full.


Here2care are operational in Dartford/Gravesend and Medway towns  Kent Here2Care provides a service to the clients enabling them to continue living in their own home and to support our clients individual needs Here2Care cover a vast area throughout Dartford and Surrounding areas and the Medway towns area. Established in 2002 the company has 11 years of experience in the domiciliary care business.


Here2Care has an expanding group of clients, based in the local area, including surrounding areas of Dartford and Medway. Enabling clients to continue living in the comfort of their own home throughout the year, the company supplies the clients with a professional service. Using facilities in clients own homes and the friendly staff, the service is intended to enable clients to continue living in their own home.





The Dartford branch was awarded a contract with Kent County Council in 2004 and to date we now provide well in excess of 100,000 hours of care per annum to the local community and it continues to grow. 




The Medway Branch have recently been awarded the Gold Contract by Medway council, and is now one of the TOP 5 major provider for Medway council.

Job Title:  Community Carer

Location :         Dartford, Rochester

Start Date :       January 2013

Type :   Permanent full or Part time


Salary / Rate :   £6.18 – 8.09 per hour




Paid mileage, guaranteed Hours,  paid holiday, Uniform, Company Mobile Phone, free training(paid at hourly rate to attend) permanent clients.





To have individual responsibility in accordance with the practices, procedures and policies of Here2Care  for the personal needs of service users.


To enable service users to live as independently, comfortably and securely as possible. To promote the opportunity for service users to live in the community for as long as possible, by providing care and support to individuals and families, to provide services in a way, which will preserve the dignity, privacy, choice, independence, fulfillment and rights of the service user.




- To assist with all aspects of personal care including washing and dressing.

- To be prompting medication.

- Assisting with toileting needs.

- Preparing and serving meals.

- Carrying out domestic calls including general housework.

- Escorting our service users to appointments.

- Companionship calls


Responsibility for People


 Care workers will ensure as safe as possible living environment for service users whilst respecting service user's choice and rights, and report any changes to relevant person immediately.

Care workers should ensure the service user is not put at risk as a result of home care activities.

Care workers may have to work alongside other care staff.


Key Competencies

To be able to attend appropriate training courses.

To be able to adhere to all company policies, procedures and systems.

To be able to liaise effectively with office staff, Social Workers, service users and service user family members.

To be able to maintain high standards of care provision.

To have an understanding of emergency situations.


Special Skills and Attributes

Excellent communications skills.
Ability to cope with pressure.
To understand diversity and able to cope with change.
Ability to show warmth and have a caring/kind nature.

Must be able to drive and have full driving license and appropriate insurance

No experience necessary as full in house training is provided. Also offering you the chance to complete a national diploma.
