FAMILY LIAISON OFFICER
Start date: 1st September 2013
Employment basis: Fixed term for 2 years (01/09/13 until 31/08/2015) Full time
Responsible to: Assistant Principal for Inclusions
Remuneration: C2 point 22-31 (£19,621 to £26,276)
We seek to appoint a Family Liaison Officer for a September start. The role will involve working for Medway Action for Families Agenda and working with families who have multiple and complex needs.
The role involves providing innovative family centred interventions designed to motivate and engage whole families, enabling them to gain control and stability in their lives.
The successful candidate must possess an appropriate degree related to working with children or families. Good IT skills including experience of using IT to manage and track data and reports are also essential.
If you are able to offer practical “hands on” support, be assertive and challenging in your approach and possess excellent organisational skills, then we would like to hear from you. Flexibility is required as it may be necessary to work evenings and weekends if required.
