Quality Auditor

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for this leading manufacturing company helping ensure all products achieve the master sample standard and that all standard operating procedures are complied with.
Job responsibilities include: -
1.Ensure all agreed quality standards are complied with and results entered on the quality control records
2.Ensure any internal, supplier and customer non-conformances are recorded, investigated and corrective actions implemented to avoid re-occurance using the 8D process.
3.Carry out internal audits against standard operating procedures, 5s, Health and Safety to comply with the audit schedule and specific actions are made as an output to all audits conducted.
4.Facilitate the 8D process to ensure root cause corrective actions are implemented.
5.Assist with the completion and resulting actions from external audits
6.Be the first point of contact on shift for all Quality concerns
7.Provide technical support for suppliers, line managers and others in relation to specifications, non-conformances and customer complaints
8.Lead by example to promote professional and safe working practices across the shift
9.Identify employee training needs to achieve best practice operational standards.
10.Approval of first off samples and authorise the start up of the production run.
