Job Title: Web Developer

Salary: Circa £22k negotiable depending on experience

A small creative agency based near Maidstone requires a web developer to join our hardworking team. The successful candidate will be able to work to tight deadlines and be equally happy working on their own or as part of a team to ensure that projects are completed on time.

Often working from Photoshop design templates provided by the creative team you will be responsible for the building of website templates & incorporating dynamic aspects such as: news areas, e-commerce shops, blogs, searches content management systems, administration areas and Google mapping.

Your knowledge will incorporate clean standards compliant XHTML and CSS code for building of website templates. Experience with PHP, MySQL, & Javascript is also essential together with knowledge of SEO.

Familiarity with Ajax and the Zend Framework would be useful and the ability to work in ASP.NET, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop and Object Orientated Programming would also be useful although not essential.

You will be responsible for managing our clients existing hosting accounts, setting up new hosting accounts and emails as and when required.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they are prepared to ‘go the extra mile’ and show how they can add value to our business in the website development area.
