Description of Vacancy
OneSavings Bank (OSB) are offering an opportunity to join our award winning Broker Liaison Team at one of our brands called Interbay Commercial.
This role will enable you to gain fantastic insight and experience in financial services whilst we support you to achieve your Business Administration Level 3 qualification.
What will your role look like?
On a typical day, you’ll be completing a variety of tasks to support our Sales Broker Liaison function. This includes:
Receiving calls and providing information to our customers deal with any queries that they have effectively
Updating intermediaries on the status of their client’s applications; provide clear and concise communication as required and on a timely basis
Identifying and escalating any instances of fraud or other suspicious activities and report these to line management.
Participating in User Acceptance Testing as required.
Completing general administration duties and ad hoc tasks or projects as and when required

1 hour unpaid lunch break
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn the department from the ground up
Existing Customer Service experience would be advantageous
Minimum GCSE’s C (Grade 4 or above) in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
Self-motivation and initiative to suggest improvements and interact confidently with all departments
Determination to learn and develop new skills, with the long term aim to progress
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards
