MINIBUS DRIVER (Part Time)

We are looking for an experienced Minibus Driver to join our team

The Minibus Driver will drive a school minibus to transport our students safely from Sevenoaks railway station to the school and then the return journey at the end of the school day.  Our minibus drivers also take students to external sporting and educational events as well as being available at other times for sporting fixtures. 

Reporting to the Health and Safety and Operations Manager, we are seeking a reliable and flexible driver to carry out the following duties:

  • Driving routes as directed
  • Observing Health and Safety Regulations
  • Observing legal requirements relating to the safe operation of the vehicles and road safety
  • Responsible for the daily checking of the vehicle allocated
  • Ensuring passenger safety at all times
  • Cleaning vehicles as requested

The ideal candidate will have:

A clean driving license with PCV entitlement or ability to obtain PCV, experience in driving minibuses and ability to deal professionally with young people.

Hours

Monday - Friday 7.45am - 9.00am & 4.00pm - 6.15pm / Saturday 7.45am - 9.00am (term time only with some adhoc shifts during school holidays).  

Salary and Benefits

Salary £10.00 per hour with various benefits including Pension, Free Car Parking, Sports Centre Membership and 28 days paid holiday, including statutory public holidays.

Sevenoaks School is a large co-educational independent School and enjoys a global reputation as a centre of academic excellence and a flagship school for the International Baccalaureate. The school is situated on Sevenoaks High Street, surrounded by fine views. The 100-acre site, which includes a number of listed buildings, is beautifully landscaped and adjoins the 1000-acre deer park of Knole. There are 1100 pupils from age 11 to 18 and approximately 350 pupils board.
