  • Customer Interaction: greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Order Processing: take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are noted.
  • Product Knowledge: learn about menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer customer requests and make recommendations.
  • Communication: communicate with customers and colleagues clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Team Collaboration: work closely with team members to ensure smooth service operations, helping with food preparation and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Adaptability: be open to taking on various roles within the establishment, including cashiering, serving, and assisting with the preparation of food, as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: assist in resolving customer concerns and issues, seeking guidance from experienced team members when necessary.
  • Time Management: manage tasks efficiently, especially during busy periods, to provide quick and accurate service.
  • Attention to Detail: pay close attention to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Learning and Development: participate actively in training programmes and consistently strive to improve customer service skills and knowledge.

Wage

£192.50 per week

Hours

Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
35 paid hours per week
1 hour daily breaks (unpaid)

Includes 20% paid time for training
20% paid time during working hours is given to complete training, referred to as "Off the Job Training"

Qualifications Required

GCSE Level 9-4 (or Grade A-C) in English and maths, or equivalent qualifications in these subjects
