Our client is well-established with over 30 years' experience in supplying Management Software specifically for companies involved in Importing and Exporting. They are now looking to grow their small, but successful Sales Team. You will be involved in the full sales cycle and managing the relationship with each prospect through to close of sale.

You will be fully supported in this task by their in-house researcher who will supply you with leads. We are looking for an experienced Software Sales Consultant who is very driven by financial reward. The commission is uncapped but realistically you should expect an OTE of £45k in your first year and increasing substantially thereafter. There is also lots of in-house resource available to you, such as Technical Presales staff, who will assist you in presenting the software to the prospective clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Source clients to build a pipeline
  • Meeting prospects in the hope of converting them in to sales
  • Prepare tailor-made proposals to cater to the needs of each lead
  • Generate interest in their software through marketing activities
  • Use a consultative sales approach

 

Essential:

  • Proven track record in selling software or selling services within the logistics industry
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Driven individual
  • Good organisation skills to be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Desire to exceed sales targets
  • Clean EU driving license
