The Role

To engage in conversation with customers and team, sharing a specialist knowledge of fruit and vegetables, seasonality, availability, quality, price, preparation and range

Drive & lead the team with opening set up and closing down standards. Keyholding duties require a flexible and professional approach at all times.

Support the existing retail and wholesale team ensuring cohesive working relationships. See where efficiencies can be made without jeopardising the quality of service, working consistently with the teams to improve standards and productivity.

To understand and embody our core values, educating our customers and our team about our ethical sourcing bringing the trinity of suppliers, customers and team to life

To ensure our displays are maintained to our high standards with frequent replenishment considering stock rotations and quality control to minimise wastage and optimise every customers experience.

To actively participate in our quarterly stock takes and inventory control measures using POS and other systems.

To maintain health and safety standards, food hygiene, daily cleaning of the food hall and employee areas.

To positively contribute in all team meetings and training courses. We are passionate that we support individual development and encourage a long term career with us. As we continue to grow there will always be opportunities to progress.

To be able to challenge yourself and learn about our products every day, articulating a keen and authentic interest in food & our producers / suppliers.

Educating each other is essential, as the specialist in this area it will be your responsibility to ensure that the rest of the team is knowledgeable with frequent & daily updates.

To maintain high energy levels and carry out all duties productively and any other duties and tasks as required, a flexible approach is essential.
