Auditor Personal Injury Fee Earner (Defendant) or experienced Motor Insurance Claims Handler; progress your career into a Claims Auditor role. If you are an Internal Auditor don't delay, apply now and be a crucial part of a growing company The Claims Auditor will conduct departmental, business and individual file, system and telephony audits within agreed SLA's. The Claims Auditor will work within the business delegated authority: identify, and recommend corrective action, to minimise leakage and improve quality. The company is based in a great location, which is close to the mainline rail network and with ample parking. The Claims Auditor's key role and responsibilities will be: Conduct File and Telephony Audits that will promote accuracy against agreed targets and support the growth and strategic direction of the business Report findings to the L&D and Audit Controller and back into the business Identify and recommend corrective action plans and training of processes to minimise leakage and improve quality to rectify all gaps in knowledge Attend regular QA meetings to share best practices, initiatives and report Audit findings and Training updates to team leaders Keep abreast of all regulatory and technical developments in the industry Build relationships with all areas of the business in order that all areas of the business work alongside each other The minimum requirements for the Claims Auditor role are: Essential Capable of working with a minimum of supervision Good grammar, vocabulary and an ability to explain complex insurance terminology so it is easy to understand Understanding of current industry standards for Customer Service, Complaints, Compliance and Claims Management Ability to identify trends and draw conclusions from audit data Previous experience in Personal Injury (PI) MOJ claims, Accidental Damage (AD) and Property Damage (PD) claims handling Preferred Relevant and recent insurance experience, including qualitative assessment in a motor claims environment Audit experience Benefits include: Pension Holiday (minimum 20 days holiday as standard) Eligible for 10% bonus (dependent on experience and on completion of probation) Option to buy and sell up to 3 days holiday.
