Senior Social Media Executive/Social Media Manager

We are looking for a talented Senior Social Media Executive/Social Media Manager to manage our social media clients. You will be responsible for managing a small team of social media executives in creating original content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our client’s image in a cohesive way to achieve strategic marketing goals.

As a Senior Social Media Executive/Social Media Manager, we would expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends, measurement techniques and PPC/paid social media experience. You should have excellent written communication skills and be able to express our client’s tone of voice creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle managing your team to ensure the social media presence, web traffic and customer engagement is all at the highest levels.


  • Work with the Head of Strategy to design and implement social media strategy
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor social media channel performance and work with our SEO manager to understand web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as accounts, design, digital and copywriting to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, providing regular updates to the wider team.
  • Manage and develop the existing team ensuring they have career progression and growth opportunities.


  • Proven work experience as a social media professional
  • Hands on experience in content creation
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Proven knowledge of core social platforms including the paid opportunities
  • Proven understanding of modern measurement, analysis and reporting techniques
  • Ability to motivate and grow a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and agile working skills
