Groundworker with Machine Ticket Location: Hythe, Kent Contract type: Freelance Start date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Salary/ Rate: £15 dependant on Tickets Randstad CPE Contact: Molly Everett (Maidstone branch) The company brief: One of Kent's largest Civil Engineering contractors who work across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors of the industry with project values ranging from £100,000 - £2.5 million. Due to a large increase in contracts awarded and invitations to tender across the South East the need has arisen to recruit for Groundworkers with immediate effect. The project: The contract includes earthworks, drainage, foundations, car parks, access roads and hard landscaping. Your new role: As the Dumper Operator, you will be working closely with other plant operatives and be reporting into a General Foreman/Works Manager. You will be key in contributing to the safe & on-time delivery of a complex, exciting project in Sandwich and your role will involve: Bulk earthworks and excavations. Movement of stockpiles and materials. Working with suppliers. About you: Previous in a similar role. CPCS Blue Card Other CPCS accreditations would be an advantage. Be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Focused on progress. What you will get in return A competitive hourly rate or day rate. Overtime opportunities.
