The successful candidate should have:
Strong industry knowledge in Managed Services including Cloud, Datacentre and multi-tenanted solutions
Proficient in WAN and network technologies
MCSE level skills in Microsoft products and services
A good understanding of Cybersecurity, Risk and Change Management
You will be a trail blazer in product development, guiding the implementation of new products, services, procedures and standards.
Provide hands-on technical leadership and support for the Technical Department
Encourage and drive a programme of continuous improvement throughout the business
Microsoft Office Products including Office 365 Cloud, Exchange and SQL
Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy
Virtualisation technologies including Hyper-V or VMware
Network hardware including Router, Firewall, Switches, Wi-Fi (Vendor Neutral)
Storage including SAN, NAS, SCSI, iSCSI and Fibre Channel
Mobile Device Management, Security products
Backup and DR technologies with a strong understanding of BCP
Prince2 / Agile
CCNA / CCENT

The Infrastructure Consultant is a senior technical role within the organisation reporting to the Head of Technical Services. You will work closely with other Engineers in the Infrastructure and Service Delivery Teams. You will be directly responsible for the successful delivery of IT projects and managed services to a growing client base primarily across Kent and London.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical and interpersonal skills with strong project management capabilities, and be able to demonstrate previous experience in the successful delivery of complex projects, such as migrations and architecting new solutions.
The Infrastructure Consultant role is based primarily at the Head Office in Sittingbourne, but also will incorporate on-site working at customer premises as required; a full driving license, your own transportation and a willingness to travel are therefore prerequisites.
The Infrastructure consultant role may require extended or unsocial hours, occasionally at short notice. There is the potential to augment the basic salary with overtime payments and participation in the On-Call rota. The role involves some manual handling from time to time, this will include the movement of Servers, hardware, racking of equipment.
