Our client is a well-established Technology company based near to Paddock Wood with over 30 years Industry experience.

 

 

 

They are now looking to add to their team. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Account manager from the Technology Industry, with 3 years + experience.

 

 

 

In this role 70% of your time would be dealing with existing customers and 30% to New Business.

 

 

 

They are looking for candidates with good Strategic consultative selling experience; who are well experienced in understanding clients’ requirements and being able to offer a solution.

 


Full product training will be included

 

 

 

Responsibilities of the role:

 

 Manage and maintain customer relationships within the portfolio

 

 Undertake regular customer review meetings and feedback to the sales manager

 

 Work closely with service department and proactively promote new services

 

 Ensure that individual KPIs are meet and strive to exceed these targets

 

 Work as an integral part of the Sales team to ensure that sales team targets are met

 

 Feedback to Sales manager of any new opportunities with new or existing customers

 

 Continually seek out new business opportunities

 

 Ensure all client renewals are undertaken in a timely manner

 

 Provide unrivalled quality of service

 

 Attend quarterly individual performance review meetings with the sales manager

 

Main accountabilities:

 

 Understand and embrace core values at all times.

 

 Maintain an excellent work ethic striving to exceed expectations and KPIs.

 

 Build long-lasting rapport with allocated customers, taking a keen interest in their background and business strategy

 

 Monitor customer satisfaction levels and act accordingly

 

 Be professional at all times

 

 Report to the Sales Manager by way of weekly 1-2-1 reviews

 

 Predict monthly sales figures to the directors during weekly sales meetings

 

 Listen to customers’ needs and act accordingly

 

 Remain polite and tactful towards customers and colleagues

 

 Ensure that personal growth and goals are in-line with company standards

 

 Keep the Connectwise CRM up to date, record opportunities, activities and phone conversations daily

 

Key competencies:

 

 3 Years + Account management experience within the IT Sector

 

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

 Focused and target driven

 

 Investment in self-development and honing personal soft skills

 

 Personable and adaptable to any situation

 

 Able to work well in a team environment while confident also able to working alone

 

 Maintain high standards at all times of personal appearance, timekeeping, attendance and respect of company property

 Good commercial awareness

 

 Excellent ability to use Microsoft suite, i.e. Email, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
