Description of Vacancy

Bradfield’s Academy are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join with administration team with a focus on finance.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and flexible apprentice to assist with the following:-

  • Processing order, invoices and other financial documents
  • Filing
  • Statement and Bank Reconciliation
  • Monitoring of department spending & Budgets
  • Answering finance queries via telephone or face to face.
  • Monitoring the Finance mailbox and responding to requests
  • Other banking including handling cash

Hours

Working all year around, for 32.5 hrs a week.

Working hours from 8:30am to 3pm ( with an unpaid 30 minutes for lunch)

Qualifications Required

GCSE A –C In English and Maths.

Skills Required

Good IT Skills, especially in Excel

Enjoys working with figures and number crunching.

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
