Littlebourne House is an 18th Century manor house, steeped in history and set in beautiful English gardens in the village of Littlebourne.
A river flows at the bottom of the garden where the ducks and wildlife are waiting to be fed.

We are a residential care home specialising in elderly care and Dementia. The majority of our residents live here on a permanent basis but we also offer respite care.

Littlebourne Care Home are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join their busy team as an Apprentice Healthcare Assistant.
The role will include a wide range of elements to support the needs of our residents, including dressing, feeding and support during excursions and activities.
You will play a key part towards the emotional and physical wellbeing of our residents, and will receive full training to support you with this.
To work as part of a team, administering care for the residents at Littlebourne House with respect and dignity while promoting as much independence as possible.
Minimum living wage will be paid for each age group e.g. 18 – 20 years - £5.60.
33.5 working hours per week (with potential for more).
This is a shift-work based role and candidates should be prepared to work a 12 hour shift (with 50 minutes unpaid break each day).
To comply with national employment law, applicants should be aged 18 or over in order to be able to meet the above requirements.
Minimum grade A*- E (or equivalent) in English and Maths GCSE.
The successful applicant will receive full training but will be expected to have a naturally caring and compassionate nature.

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
