Our customer is a leading independent provider of Cloud based systems, Hosted Applications and Infrastructure, they get to know their customers, so they can respond to their needs - join them as a Technical Director and they'll get to know you as a person, not just an employee, so they can understand your interests and ambitions.
You will be responsible for managing the in life contracted services to all their customers. The successful individual will be ultimately responsible for all services delivered into multiple clients, including several large, challenging and complex contracts. Reporting into the Managing Director you will be a point of escalation for customers as well as ensuring that our customer are delivering against all SLA's, contractual terms and their margin commitments. You will engage directly with their customers to ensure our customer delivers on their contractual commitments, whilst ensuring their services are aligned to meet the customer's business needs. Driving continual improvement and operational efficiency is a constant focus of the team and they do this by leveraging the best practice and capability within their environment

We're also looking for someone who is qualified with the relevant professional qualification and has experience of managing teams of technical staff, as well as a good knowledge of relevant functional systems and experience in developing best practice policies and procedures for functional areas. You will be expected to adopt best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service and also act in accordance with company's Information's Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other security risks to the organisation. This person will be a key interface for the customer, and will have a strong focus on managing solution and timescale changes, focusing on contract and relationship management, as well as ensuring that their customers are delivering to their agreed SLA's. You would build relationships with clients and broadening relationships with customers to ensure delivering added value to the customer business, manage a team of direct reports end to end, including all development, reviews and appraisals.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building relationships up to CIO, Head of Function, IT Director level, along with a clear vision of what good looks like in successful programme delivery. You should also be able to demonstrate: a proven track record of working in a challenging commercial environment, experience of managing P&L/budgets, experience of functional area's lifecycles, methodologies, tools and techniques.
You should be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the following:
*Hosted applications
*Microsoft SfB, Sharepoint, Exchange O365
