Pathways to Independence is a registered charity providing supported housing services to homeless single adults including ex-offenders across Kent and Medway. 

We are recruiting a Deputy Head of Services who will manage delivery of supported housing services across multiple sites in Kent and Medway. You will work alongside another Deputy both with shared responsibility for day to day staff support and supervision, oversight of health and safety responsibilities across all sites and applications into the services.

Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm weekdays with some flexibility needed to attend occasional evening/weekend meetings. In addition you will share the lead in providing out of hours management response to emergencies and incidents.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a support service for vulnerable single adults, as well as having worked with ex-offenders, with a good knowledge of the criminal justice system. You will need to be flexible and responsive with the ability to use your initiative, be an effective organiser with good IT skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels.

This is a permanent post but we are willing to consider a secondment.

A full UK Driving Licence is essential along with the daily use of a car.

An Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required. However, a criminal conviction will not necessarily prejudice your application.
