Migrant Help is a leading charity that has been established for over 50 years and delivers a range of support and advice services to migrants across the UK. We are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant within our Dover office.

This vacancy is open to internal and external candidates.

The Role:

The purpose of this role is to provide effective and efficient support to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Board of Trustees (BoT). He/she will provide a welcoming, professional environment for relevant internal and external stakeholders, organising and coordinating senior administrative activity and support special projects, as required.

The Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ previous experience as an EA or senior administrator. The post holder must have a can-do attitude, excellent attention to detail, planning and organisation skills. The role is to support the CEO, COO and BoT in the most efficient way possible to ensure the governance arrangements for the organisation are in place and updated on a regular basis. This role requires the ability to deal with deadlines and conflicting priorities and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. He/She will also support the senior management team with meetings, distributing papers, technical help in preparing professional-looking documents and proof-reading reports and letters. From time to time the post holder will be required to carry out special projects and research. Excellent computer skills will also be key, including MS Office applications.

This post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and a Counter Terrorism check.
