Senior Quantity Surveyor
Well established architectural, property and construction consultancy are seeking and experienced senior level quantity surveyor for their office based in North Kent. Our client offers building surveying, architectural, project management and health and safety services to clients within the housing, education, commercial, healthcare, local authority and conservation sectors. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be: A chartered quantity surveyor or equivalent relevant experience, good all round technical ability. Experienced in all aspects of quantity surveying services including feasibility estimates, cost planning, procurement and post contract duties. Working knowledge of the various Forms of Contract (JCT, NEC3, TPC), Ability to interact with other team members at project level and be able to lead and manage a project technical team. Duties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor: Liaising with clients in respect of technical matters, taking full responsibility for technical matters for projects within his/her control, technical management of staff within the team, developing client contacts and obtaining work from existing clients, risk analysis and risk management of individual projects, understanding the objectives of job profitability. Benefits for the Senior Quantity Surveyor: A basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum dependent on experience, pension, healthcare, discretionary bonus and professional subscriptions paid.
