Job Summary This role, will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of contracts across the Kent region, covering existing delivery in Folkestone, Gillingham and Broadstairs/Ramsgate representing the company to suppliers, partners, funders and employers. Managing the overall performance of centres in your area ensuring continuous improvement, quality and compliance. You will be measured against outcomes and contractual performance. Key Responsibilities Ensure the contracts are managed in accordance with contractual and the company's requirements, Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders in the designated area of responsibility e.g. DWP/ESFA/LSC/JCP Regional/District team relationships, Local Authorities, Training Providers, Colleges and Universities You will be required to ensure the agreed objectives and targets within the Business Plan and Budget are met; by providing, leadership, clear direction and support to a team of Assessors, Tutors and Administration staff. To provide leadership and management ensuring that staff have clarity of purpose, are motivated and equipped to deliver their role within the business. To meet and/ or exceed contractual targets through the achievement of profile to starts, learner retention, success rates, progression and learner attendance. To achieve success rates, drive individual performance, provide accurate MI giving an accurate understanding of performance levels against contractual profiles that will enable appropriate business decisions to be made. To build and maintain local key stakeholder relationships including employers, referral agencies and partner organisations. To undertake accurate assessment of staff performance To manage compliance and ensure that error rates are below target. professional development that meets the needs of all staff. To drive change in a positive and influential manner within the team. To empower the team to deliver excellence for their learners. To set up additional premises in line with company requirements and budget Contracts are effectively monitored against these targets and any underperformance clearly identified Contribute towards the formulation of the regional business plans and local business opportunities are identified and forwarded to the business development team Ensure all staff understand and meet personal and team targets and that staff turnover is minimal Contribute towards the formulation and implementation of the Employer Engagement strategy in the Kent area Take responsibility for the upkeep of Premises and Health and Safety Take responsibility for your own personal development, Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence Qualifications and Skills First level professional qualification/ NVQ 3/ Key Skills Level 3 in Application of Number and Communication or equivalent education Knowledge and experience of delivery of of SFA/DWP/JCP/LSC and ESF programmes Proven ability to handle major change and complex projects, whilst managing teams to deliver and over achieve business targets Leadership and management of a team and operation across a multi site responsibility Meeting contractual targets within financial budgets Public sector programme provision and associated funding mechanisms DBS check required This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/80438476
