Are you an experienced IT Support Analyst seeking an exciting new position?
Our client a manufacturing company who have recently expanded into Europe are keen to recruit a qualified IT professional to join their busy team.
Based within a team of three you will be working within the offices close to Sevenoaks and work a 35 hour week
Job details
*Providing first line IT support and proven resolution in a timely and mutually agreed manner for users across multiple locations in the UK and Northern Europe
*Escalate issues to third party support as necessary while retaining ownership and bringing about a timely resolution
*Provide training and guidance to users on how to efficiently, effectively and safety operate software and computer equipment
*Install and configure appropriate IT user hardware and peripheral devices (printers, scanners etc)
*Install and configure appropriate operating systems and application software's according to specifications
*Support and maintain all physical, virtual and cloud based Windows servers
*Support and maintain local networks to optimise performance
*Maintain the Windows Active Directory according to best practice
*Ensuring security and privacy of networks and computer systems
*Manage backups to ensure system and data integrity and resilience
*Organise, schedule and performance software and hardware, updates, upgrades and maintenance without impending others from completing their work
*Maintain accurate records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Essential requirements
*Must have previous experience as an IT Technician
*Experience using Windows Active Directory
*Experience using Microsoft remote desktop service
*Have had exposure to server and desktop service - VMware
*Possess excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
*In depth knowledge of diverse computer systems and networks
*Good knowledge or internet security and data privacy principles
*Excellent communicator
*Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
*The ideal candidate will have a drivers licence as occasional travel to the midlands (a pool car will be provided and hotel accommodation paid for as and when this is needed)
