PPC Manager




Our client connects some of the world's largest brands to 5 billion people and things. This new role aims to inject some PPC expertise into the mix. You will be fully responsible for all digital advertising on all platforms (Google, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) across all their brands. You will have a passion for results and be a quick learner to get to grips with the market, business and customers. They are a B2B company so a strong understanding of how to target businesses and personas is an absolute must.

 Plan, optimise, implement and manage all PPC campaigns, principally focusing on Adwords and Bing, but developing to new areas as needed

 Maintain and monitor keyword bids, daily/monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics

 Create engaging and concise ad content and provide recommendations to the Design Agency to create eye caching banner ads

 Keep up with Google Adwords updates and general PPC and Search Engine Marketing SEM trends and techniques

 Be aware of, and recommend techniques to, reduce click fraud

 Perform keyword research and manage all bids ensuring each destination is specifically catered for

 Tracking PPC KPIs and producing reports for management

 Present forecasts for key measures in the sales funnel, from PPC click to payment

 Working closely with the Web Manager to ensure data is synced and knowledge is shared to ensure successful PPC, SEO and online marketing tactics are put in place

 A/B testing of ads, landing pages and other variables to provide insights for all PPC campaigns

 Ensure campaigns are set up according to best practices

 Work with the Cloud Sales team will be essential to ensure profitable destinations are targeted and PPC outcomes contribute to the bottom line

Essential requirements

 5+ years experience managing Google Adwords/PPC accounts for more than £300k per year

 Proven track record managing large PPC budgets in a B2B environment

 Experience managing global campaigns, targeting a variety of destinations

 An in-depth understanding of Google Adwords automated features and strategies

 Passion for PPC and digital marketing in general

 Strong attention to detail

 Love of numbers and a keen analytical eye

 Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts


Desirable requirements


  • Google Adwords certification
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field
  • Experience using WordPress CMS
  • Experience running paid ads on Social channels
