Employer Description
Inten Ltd are a facilities solution provider. We get involved in a variety of aspects of building maintenance. Inten provides ppm and reactive maintenance for several commercial clients. Our scope of works includes drainage, roofing, & fabric repairs (such as carpentry, plumbing and decorating works). Inten employ engineers to carry out the works, and administrators and account managers to carry out the administration and management of the works on our system and the clients systems.

Description of Vacancy
This is a varied administrative job in a busy office. You will be required to carry out administrative duties including ensuring jobs issued by the clients are booked in, arranged and completed. To monitor that they are finished satisfactorily and making sure all jobs are invoiced.
Supporting and assisting the managers and office staff as and when required is all aspects of administration.
Responsibilities
Answer the phones in a professional manner.
Pass messages in a timely manner.
Raise new jobs on the system.
Arrange engineers to attend.
Ensure engineers have the correct materials.
Order materials when required.
Collect job completion information from engineers.
Input All job information onto the system.
Update Inten and client systems as required.
Support Management and staff

8am – 5pm
(40 hours)
1 hour lunchbreak (unpaid)
Qualifications Required
Minimum achieved Grade D or equivalent in English and Maths.
Skills Required
Computer Literate.
Knowledge of repairs / maintenance advantageous.

Training Provided
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
Additional Detail
As of 1st April 2017, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
