Description of vacancy
A fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in IT whilst working towards an apprenticeship in Business Administration has arisen in Canterbury!
Due to expansion the Motorline Group are recruiting for an Apprentice IT Systems Administrator to work within the Group’s IT Department based at our Head office.
The Successful candidate will undertake their qualification with a practical focus in the key computer systems administration required to operate the business on a day to day basis.
- To meet all requirements of Kent training and Apprenticeships to successfully pass your apprenticeship program
- To Assist the Group IT Department with
- User administration the groups various computer systems
- Communicate New User setup information
- Computer equipment Configuration and preparation
- Liaise with Group Staff as required
- Assist in the completion of projects to a timely fashion
- To assist the IT Department with other administration tasks
- Other duties as required
£ 7,280 per annum / £140 per week
(Paid monthly on 28th)
40 hour working week:
Monday to Friday
8.30am to 5.30 pm
1 hour for lunch
GCSE grade 4 / C (or equivalent) in English, Maths and ICT would be preferred.

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
