We are main dealers for Mercruiser, Vetus, Yanmar and Nanni, and supplies of KKK turbos, Teleflex, Durite and MG Duff anodes and now Raymarine.

Coastal Rides Ltd is husband and wife business that has been trading for over 18 years, now operating from Dover Marina, where we carry out installations, engine and drive repairs and servicing.

We buy large quantities of bankrupt stock keeping our prices low and competitive.

Description of vacancy

Fantastic opportunity for school leaver! Come and join our team in Dover and begin your level 2 admin apprenticeship. Possible future for successful candidate includes level 3 business admin / full time employment at Coastal Rides.

Primary Duties

  • Inventory control
  • Goods in / goods out
  • Finding and packing parcels
  • Keeping office and work spaces safe and tidy
  • General stock control
  • Filing
  • Stock advertising/research
  • Tea duties


Starting salary will be £4.75 per hour

(to be reviewed every 3months)


Monday – Friday

8.30am to 5pm

30mins for lunch (1.30 - 2)

40 hours paid

lunch (30mins) unpaid

Qualifications Required

GCSE Maths and English or equivalent Level 2 Qualification

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
