Job Title:        Commercial and Administrative Assistant LAUNCH DIAGNOSTICS Ltd

LAUNCH DIAGNOSTICS Ltd, independent distributor of diagnostic reagents and instruments, are recruiting a Commercial and Administrative Assistant to support the commercial team and manage the administrative aspects of the company.

As a Commercial and Administrative Assistant, you must have an ability to understand commercial terms and have a background in working with commercial teams previously, and you must be bilingual French/English.

This work will be based in New Ash Green (Longfield), Kent.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Department support
  • Management of orders and invoices: process orders, and follow them up with customers and France & Benelux
  • Management of the customer database and contacts
  • Management of the Sales team support
  • Preparation of letters and other documents
  • Management of the stock
  • Referencing and filing the quotes
  • Mailing the customers
  • Preparation of the Sales statistics
  • Management of the follow up of the Free of Charge products
  • Assisting in the CRM implementation
  • Assisting the Marketing Services Manager with the Marketing tools supply
  • Maintaining and developing the filing systems, databases and processes

       2. Administrative Department Support

  • Administrative management of tenders and the tender database
  • Administrative support for the FRBNL team
  • Management of the general administration
  • Logistics management: support shipment, booking hotels and travels, organisation of congresses
  • Assist the General Manager in Sales Meetings organisation
  • Liaise the Sales Office with Accountants
  • Translation of administrative documents
  • To provide ad-hoc administrative support

Skills/Knowledge

The following attributes are considered essential for the job:

  • Commercial / sales / marketing experience
  • Bilingual French/English
  • Able to work on own initiative – A confident ‘self-starter’
  • Able to prioritise their workload
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills, both over the telephone and personally
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience of working with customers
  • Well organised and attention to detail
