We are a GP Practice delivering healthcare in the Swanley area.
Description of Vacancy
You must be highly motivated, with good customer service and people skills, be able to communicate well with colleagues and patients over the phone and in person. The role will include making appointments and dealing with queries as well as some general tasks. This role requires shift working.
- Greet all patients and visitors on arrival.
- Answer the telephone dealing with or redirecting enquiries.
- Make, cancel and change appointments.
- Handle general enquiries.
- Record requests for home visits.
- Book ambulances.
- Send referrals by email.
- Cover for colleagues
Working days are Monday to Friday between 8am and 6.30pm (shifts to be agreed) for a 37.5 hour week. You will be entitled to a one hour unpaid lunch break.
Minimum achieved Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework - consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
