Payroll Administrator £20-25k, Westerham, Kent Our client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Westerham. They have been in business for more than 50 years and are proud to boast a modern vision for their practice and clientele. Due to increased business they are now keen to add a Payroll Administrator to their experienced team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience dealing with SAGE Payroll, administering the payroll function for a variety of clients. In addition to this function the successful candidate will also learn to process tax and VAT returns to provide clients with a more efficient service. As Payroll Administrator you will be highly organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail. You will demonstrate the ability to deal with queries in a quick, professional and efficient manner. This is an ideal role for someone currently dealing with payroll who would like to step into a practice environment and expand their skills. Your duties in this role will include: Dealing with client payroll, ensuring accuracy. Processing and filing tax returns through the online portals. Processing VAT returns. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: Demonstrable experience with SAGE Payroll is essential. Previous experience dealing with VAT / tax returns is desirable. Be highly efficient and reliable with excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be proactive and confident in dealing with clients' queries and questions. Salary and reward package: Salary is £20,000 to £25,000 depending on skills and experience (35 hours p/w). 28 days annual leave. Work place pensions scheme. Easy local parking.
