Job Title - Project Engineer Shifts - Days Location - Sevenoaks Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 Holidays - 33 days of Holiday including bank holidays The Company Our client specialises in the manufacturing of products for the construction market and now looking for a Project Engineer. With a number of manufacturing sites across the UK, they can produce anything from bricks and blocks, tiles and chimneys, to precast concrete floors and beams, as well as bespoke one off products. Their Sevenoaks site is one their largest and busiest sites, producing over 140,000 blocks per day in their fully automated production facility. The Role The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing small to medium sized CAPEX projects on site as part of their continuous improvement initiative. The Project Engineer will be getting involved with Projects right from conception, including creating line specifications, liaising with equipment manufacturers throughout both the build and installation phase, checking compliance, overseeing installation of equipment on site, then through to test, commissioning and final sign off. It might also be necessary for the Project Engineer to visit the manufacturer's production facility at various points throughout the build phase. Once a Project has been completed, the Project's Engineer will assist with enhancing that Production line's efficiency through Continuous Improvement to get it running at peak performance.
