The Role: As a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll manage the supply of components and finished goods, ensuring they are delivered on time and inventory targets are met. You'll be involved in a range of supply chain activities, from product development, sourcing, cost reduction, production, purchasing and logistics, to developing information systems and processes. Specifically, you will: - Work with suppliers from the UK, Europe and the Far East - Provide analytical support to mitigate risk in the supply chain - Monitor and manage supplier delivery performance - Optimise the use of the ERP system - Identify ways to add value to the business About You: To join us as a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll need: - Experience of working in a supply chain environment, ideally including manufacturing experience - Previous experience of an ERP system - Intermediate MS Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate data and use pivot tables - A degree level qualification or equivalent professional qualification - A positive attitude Other companies may call this role Supply Chain Executive, Procurement Executive, Purchasing Executive, Supply Chain Officer, Purchasing Co-ordinator or Purchasing & Procurement Co-ordinator.
