Our client is a bespoke main contractor who focus on refurbishment and fit out projects in the luxury residential, commercial and hotel sectors . The company is currently delivering a luxury residential scheme in Dungeness and due to the next phase of works starting, they need to appoint an additional Site Manager to join the team and manage the specialist internal fit out packages. It is a small but prestigious project for a Client who is an Architect. There are also two other Architects involved in the scheme and it will be a well published project, possibly an award winner. Therefore it is a project that requires a strong Site Manager hailing from a Carpentry and Joinery background. They are completing the internal fit-out on a 10 week programme, much of which is prefabricated joinery. Responsibilities as Site Manager include: - Ensuring company HS&E and quality standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood, implemented and adhered to at all times. - Organising the site to deliver programme requirements on a daily basis. - Co-ordinating sub-contractors to ensure efficiency of work. - Monitor the quality of work carried out ensuring high standards of quality are achieved and addressing any issues with sub-contractors / trades. - Ensuring all programmes, plans, method statements and risk assessments are up to date, understood and adhered to by all the necessary people. - Solving design and technical issues on site. Experience Required: - Recent luxury residential refurbishment experience is essential - CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid/Asbestos Awareness essential. - Start date is Tuesday 8th May and the job is on site for the following 10 weeks.
