The Marlowe opened in October 2011 and has since become one of this country’s most successful theatres. Since opening, the theatre has welcomed over one million customers to performances ranging from major West End shows, the National Theatre and a hugely successful annual pantomime in our Theatre, to the best exciting and award-winning small-scale theatre and comedy in our Studio.
The theatre runs a thriving youth theatre and education programme and also develops the work of bold and challenging new writers, creating our own productions in Canterbury.
We are recruiting a Chef to assist in the delivery of high quality food in our kitchen, all our ingredients are fresh seasonal produce. You will work as part of an experienced team and will be provided with excellent training and development.
The principle duties of the role involve food preparation and cooking of high quality fresh food, ideally to a Chef de Partie level. Assisting in the cleaning and management of the kitchen environment, ensuring the area clean is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Shifts include evening and weekend work.
Please note that salary is made up from the top point of grade 7 at £19,264 + a market supplement of £2,236 (to be reviewed annually).
