Job Title:                                New Accounts Specialist

Scope of job:                         Responsible to: Operations Manager

Location:                                Manston, Kent

Main Purpose of Job

The role involves; seeing through, processing and packaging applications to be sent to Providers, providing an administration service to customers ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner and entering and maintaining data on an in-house administration system.  Liaising with IFA’s, stockbrokers and introducers to ensure applications and account opening are dealt with in a speedy and professional manner.

Key Duties:

  • Processing New Business
  • Transfer chasing by phone
  • Providing a service to clients and/or introducers via phone and email
  • Ensuring all duties comply with TCF principals
  • Create and maintain a good working relationship with our key stakeholders
  • Entering and maintaining data on an in-house administration system, act!
  • Prioritising and managing own workload in an efficient manner to ensure service levels are achieved and service is maintained
  • Meeting all company service level agreements
  • Maintaining a good technical knowledge of the industry and products
  • Dealing with product applications for listed products
  • Processing for ISA accounts and SIPP accounts
  • Providing technical support for route to market queries, referring queries to the Operations Manager or Managing Director as appropriate.
  • Undertaking any other tasks, as required, which are commensurate with the level and nature of the role

 

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Grade C or above in English and Maths GCSE or similar

Experience

  • Experience of using a database to input and extract data
  • Experience of dealing with people on the telephone
  • Experience of processing documents

 

• Knowledge of CRM systems, in particular Swiftpage act!, an advantage

 

Special aptitudes (eg oral/written skills)

  • IT Skills - Microsoft office (Outlook and word), Microsoft excel
  • Confident and clear telephone manner
  • Effective written communication skills (emails and letters)
  • Accurate
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management
  • Good customer relations skills
