Avante Care is a well-established and respected charitable company providing services to vulnerable people in Kent, Medway, Bexley and Greenwich.
The opportunity has arisen for the appointment of Facilities Manager.
We are seeking an experienced property professional, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the maintenance of Avante's portfolio of care homes and offices, ensuring the buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that live and work in them.
Successful candidates will have considerable experience of successfully managing the maintenance of a portfolio of properties, planned maintenance programmes and delivering agreed development programmes and refurbishments. You will be required to prepare tender documentation and specifications, supervise building works and contracts and deal with all matters up to final accounts.
Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will be experienced in managing a small team, confident in taking responsibility and making decisions, act with integrity and compassion and share the core values of the organisation.
Whilst the post is based in Faversham, a driving licence is essential due to the requirement to travel to services located throughout Kent, Medway and South East London.
