Job Description: Smiths Medical is looking for a new Customer Services Supervisor to supervise the International Customer Services Department, leading the team of Customer Service Representatives to ensure agreed Customer satisfaction levels are maintained, by providing high quality management of Customer service activities. Duties and Responsibilities: To assist with the management of key accounts, ensuring agreed Customer Service levels are maintained To Supervise the effective allocation of constrained inventory including during any recall situations Co-ordinate the monthly 121's with each of the Customer Service Representatives and feedback to the Manager in time for annual review Manage and set up any customer specific data or requirements within Oracle Responsible for induction and training of new members to the team Attend any customer or sales team conference calls; and review , complete and implement any relevant actions Act as first point of contact in the escalation process Maintain all holiday records and monthly timesheets To stand in for and complete any tasks or projects as required by the Customer Service Manager To provide a high quality service to UK customers by the management of customer service activities To establish high standards of customer service by close liaison with customers, sales and marketing, distribution, logistics and supply chain departments Manage health and safety in the UK Customer Services department Required skills and experience: Technical Knowledge and Skills: 5 GCSE's or equivalent Demonstrated customer service experience Line management experience preferable Abilities: Excellent communication skills at all levels both for internal and external customers with ability to deputise for the Customer Service Manager as and when required Ability to work unsupervised with ability to identify and rectify problems working effectively on own initiative with self-confidence and discipline is essential Proactive and ability to think of different solutions to issues Ability to delegate work accordingly Some travel may be required About us: Smiths Medical is a leading global provider of medical devices for the hospital, emergency, home and specialist environments.
