Project Delivery Manager (Broking / Insurance IT)

Exciting opportunity for a senior experienced project manager to work closely with a project delivery team, acting as a major contributor to the delivery of specialised insurance/broking programmes.

With over 600 staff across 19 UK offices, this prestigious services based business continues to grow organically through mergers and acquisitions.

To ensure the project specification and deliverables are consistent with the needs of the business whilst ensuring timescales and costs are managed throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT
3+ years of experience working as a Project Manager
3+ years of customer interfacing experience of project oversight and customer presentation
Broking system integration project,s preferably Acturis.
Project lifecycle and key project components e.g. plan, PID, BRD
Demonstrate an understanding of the organisation and the sector it operates in.
Ensuring projects are delivered in time, within scope and within budget
Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the execution of projects
Direct and motivate the project team
Produce and maintain the Project Initiation Document
Manage business and project risks, including the development of contingency plans
Liaise with Programme management when the project is part of a programme
Liaise with Programme management or related projects to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated
Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiate
corrective action where necessary
Be responsible for change control and any required Configuration Management
Report to the Project Board throughout
Prepare the Lessons Learned Report
Prepare the End Project Report
Be responsible for project administration
Excellent project planning skills
Excellent client service skills.
Ability to persuade and influence others.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to gather and analyse information from the client.
Excellent skills in MS Office Products including Project
Clean driving license and willing to travel (UK only)
Flexible working hours
