We are now seeking an individual to join our body of experienced and motivated staff, many of whom have come from industry.

We welcome applications from people with a diverse range of skills and experience and we’re keen to attract and invest in staff who have the ambition, determination and ability to make a positive difference. If you do not meet all the criteria on the person specification we would still like to hear from you and welcome your application.

We are committed to the 'safeguarding' of all our students and staff. This means everyone who works here is required to actively protect them from preventable harm. Our recruitment and selection process includes checks to ensure you will carry out safeguarding duties, and in your application you are required to demonstrate how you meet the College’s requirements. We are also committed to complying and implementing the Prevent agenda.

Director of EKC IntoWork

Based across all EKC Group sites

Responsible for the senior leadership, strategic vision, management and development of EKC Group’s prison education and community based adult provision are you passionate about transforming people’s lives, and want to work for a sector leading organisation in order to deliver real results for the community you serve?

EKC Group has an opportunity for a dynamic leader to carve out a new niche as the Director of EKC IntoWork. You’ll need to lead this new brand, and develop its provision within both the prison and employability environment.

We need an exceptional leader who’s just as happy developing the strategic direction as they are getting into the operational elements of this provision. In return you’ll get the chance to make a genuine impact, and shape this new role and the provision it oversees.

With a focus on prison education and employability provision, we’ll need someone who has a robust awareness of both areas, and is able to handle a complex multi-site directorate as part of the wider EKC Group. If that sounds like you, then please click on the ‘Apply’ button.

Salary: £75,000 full time, plus 46 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), a contributory pension scheme and a range of other benefits.
