A well established parquet flooring and carpeting company operating out of Sevenoaks, are recruiting for the role of an Estimator on a permanent full time basis. The Estimator that the company are looking for will be required to carry out the following duties on a day to day basis. This list is not exhaustive and the job holder may be required to take on additional tasks from time to time, depending on operational needs: Office Admin: Key holder to Sevenoaks showroom according to days listed in the roster Maintain a clean and orderly showroom environment at all times Customer Support: Customer liaison instore Take proactive and prompt action on any customer feedback Liaising with supply chain and warehouse to ensure orders are booked Operations Support Measuring and quoting on site for delegated projects Ability to estimate across all material - carpets and hard flooring Visualisation using software of Amtico Flooring Liaising with installers once the order has been booked Loading and seeing out installation staff every morning Supply Chain Support: Coordinate and communicate any complaints to supplier Ordering samples from suppliers to go direct to clients as per samples to be ordered on wonderlist. Person Specification: Required: A minimum of three years' experience working as an Estimator Highly proactive, driven and willing to work in a busy and growing business with little supervision Excellent time keeping Eye for detail and ability to multi task Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills Desired: Interest and knowledge in the interior design industry Essentials for the role: Driving licence Proof of eligibility to work in the UK This role profile is not exhaustive; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business.
