Shared Lives Carer (Host)
New Year New Career? You have probably heard of Fostering do you know about Shared Lives?
Shared Lives Hosts are similar to Foster Carers however they support adults with Learning & Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism & Asperger's, Older People, Sensory Impairment or people living with Dementia.
You can offer three different types of support:-
Long Term - someone lives with the Host
Short Breaks - someone comes to stay for the odd night, week or longer short term breaks
Day Support - someone goes for sessional support (up to 5 hours) which is based at the Host's home

Starts at 7pm with a presentation at 7.15, you will have a chance to speak with our friendly team and have a chat with some existing Hosts and people using the service.
For Hosts it provides a flexible, interesting job with a fantastic work life balance and great opportunities for skills development, working as a self employed professional with support from our team

NB you will need to be living in your own home (rented, mortgaged or owned outright) which is located in Kent excluding Medway.
