Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel. . Anticipated Start Date: 08-02-2019 MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) are the life blood of our business. As hands-on Conference & Events Service Manager, you will motivate your team to deliver consistently high standards of guest care through your involvement in the recruitment, training and development of the team. You will be accountable for striving to achieve the best quality standards across our comprehensive conference, events, weddings and banqueting services by maintaining standards of room layouts and maximising sales opportunities at every turn whilst managing all costs control, health and safety and the overall daily operation. To succeed, you should have strong leadership qualities, be highly organised, a good communicator and have demonstrable experience in managing multiple events simultaneously. Demonstrable previous experience within a busy fast-paced similar job role is essential such as Operational MICE, Conference and Events, Banquet Manager, Banqueting, Silver Service, Events Manager, Operations Manager or Duty Manager position is essential.
