Staffline is now recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work shifts at the Tesco warehouse in Snodland, Kent. Warehouse Operatives here work in a chilled warehouse, where the temperature is between 0°C and 12°C. The rate of pay is from £8.50 per hour up to £13.30 per hour. There is performance-related bonus pay, which is dependent on workers meeting set targets. Your time at work Warehouse Operatives at this site work in a large chilled warehouse, picking a variety of fresh produce. Fresh vegetables, dairy products, and chilled desserts are just some of the products that you will handle. During your shift, you will: Operate hand pallet trucks Stack items in roll cages Use wrist computers and scanners Load and unload items Keep the site tidy and hygienic Warehouse Operatives receive plenty of detail and information when they start the job, which is followed by on-going training and coaching. Our perfect worker Our ideal worker is happy to lift heavy objects throughout the day, and they don't mind completing repetitive actions. Good attention to detail is essential, to avoid mistakes and accidents when picking produce, stacking items in cages and when moving the trucks. Full training will be provided, but experience working in a warehouse would be an advantage for Warehouse Operatives.
