Description of Vacancy
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic apprentice to join the team here at Denmaur Paper Media, which is one of the lead specialist paper suppliers in the UK.
We would like to recruit someone to work within our samples room team to provide paper samples and mock up magazines to existing and prospective customers.
Main duties to include:-
Produce and send paper samples and replica’s to customers
Maintain supplies of paper stock for sampling and testing
Label printed samples
Create mock-ups and dummies
Store away paper stock
Maintain sufficient levels of equipment and supplies
Opportunity to work alongside the Sales and Marketing teams, to expand role
£288.75 per week, starting salary. This could increase incrementally on achievement of performance and behaviour.
Working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
9am to 5:30pm.
Working knowledge or Microsoft Outlook and Word
Good Spoken English
Good Communication Skills
Able to follow instructions
Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
Punctual and dedicated
Deadline aware and focused
Able to work within a team
Physically fit, as some manual handling
Minimum achieved Grade D or equivalent in English and Maths.
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards
