We at Lunatus Resourcing LTD are working on behalf of an independent Gastro-Pub near Ashford Kent looking for a Sous Chef to join the team. Recently under new management they are looking for a chef with a passion for fresh food, with traditional British Fayre, and a focus on Steaks, Seafood & Traditional Sunday Carvery on the menu. The hours are on a 5 out of 7 day rota basis, with the mix of mainly straight shifts and splits at quieter times of the year. The ideal person will: Be able to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef/Owners absence, and also to have a good input into the delivery of the menu. Possess good judgement, problem solving, and decision making skills Ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs Effective time keeping and time management, in a call order environment. The salary is negotiable as for the right person, as you will be a big part of the present and future of how the business grows.
