Customer Safety Agent
Working on our rail contract (Eurotunnel) you will be employed to carry out the role of Customer Service/safety Agent.
This role involves a degree of fitness, working as part of a team, chocks need to be removed and replaced under the wheels of large HGV wagons to ensure the safety of the vehicles before their journey through the tunnel
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Removal of Chocks
Health and Safety Checks
To report faults and if possible perform corrective actions, and otherwise respond and deal with any anomaly noticed or reported.
To complete incident/accident reports.
Identify defects on freight vehicles
Operate CCTV camera
Operation of tablets and inputting vehicle data
Allocate passenger vehicles into the correct lanes
Liaise with the traffic control tower
Provide customers with information
The individual must also be able to demonstrate the following:
Good timekeeping & attendance
Excellent Team Spirit
Working to strict time scales
In accordance with the Working Time Regulations Act 1998 these roles are open to individuals aged 18 years and over at the time of taking up appointment due to shift working being required.
Full Training will be provided and paid for when you start with us
Job Title: Customer Service/Safety Agent
Pay Rate: £8.25 per hour
Hours: Average, 40 hours per week
Shift Plan: Early | Lates | Nights
Upon successful interview, you would be required to satisfy the companies vetting standards / procedures.
Full uniform & PPE will be provided and must be worn on every shift and kept to a high standard.
