The opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a stonemasonry apprentice at Canterbury Cathedral.

The successful candidate will have the chance to gain hands on experience in the Cathedral's stonemasonry department and to attend college at the Building Crafts College in Stratford, London.

Candidates will ideally be holders of at least 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above to include Maths and English, be able to demonstrate a reasonable knowledge of the trade through their application and at interview, be able to carry out the requirements of an apprenticeship which will include travel to college and time management skills, and be able to work outdoors in all weathers and at height.
