We are looking to recruit an experienced teacher of English, ideally, with some experience of working in an FE setting, but this is not essential. The worthy candidate will be passionate about their subject area and the promotion of the importance of English and Maths in preparing students for their future careers.

The ability to teach across a range of levels of ability including GCSE and Functional skills, in addition to promoting the importance of embedding English and Maths skills within vocational qualifications is essential.

The successful candidate will be passionate about developing the students wider skills, such as communication through an innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment. This is a small curriculum area with a future vision for growth and you will have the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as towards the objectives of the wider team. If you have experience of working in this field along with a passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with the future generation this position will be ideal for you.
