Ancestors of Dover Ltd are a manufacturing and distribution company specialising in the heritage, corporate and jewellery giftware market. With over 25 years in the field Ancestors of Dover Ltd is one of the most prominent presences in the UK giftware industry with an international distribution. Having recently acquired a number of new licences leading to an expansion into new markets Ancestors of Dover Ltd are looking to recruit a number of new staff to join the factory team.

 

Vacancy Description

We currently have an opportunity for a warehouse operator to join our small team in Folkestone, Kent. We require a warehouse worker to assist with general warehouse tasks.

Dealing with goods in- Unloading containers

Picking and packing goods, ready to ship to the customer

Maintaining warehouses

Assisting with stock takes

Casting with pewter and resin

Operating various machinery

 

Wage

£3.90 per hour rising depending on experience

 

Hours

Monday-Friday 9:00-17:30

 

Skills Required

Ability to perform manual handling (Heavy lifting.)

Good communication

Attention to detail

 

Personal Qualities

A polite friendly manner

Ability to work well in a team

 

Qualifications Required

A-C GCSE

 

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

 

Important Information
